The Argyle was the setting for Anne’s bridal portrait. It was a cold day in January, but Anne withstood the elements and looked stunning, don’t you think? These are a few of my favorites.

For the last several years Julian Gold’s Bridal Salon has been featuring our images of local girls who purchased their gowns at their salon. This is a great idea and is something everyone looks forward to–Who is going to be the next “Julian Gold Girl.” This month Ashley Oliver has the honor. The next time you drive by the Quarry area check out their billboard right by US 281. Congratulations to Ashley.
Mallory and David were visiting family over the Thanksgiving weekend and stayed over to have their engagement photographs taken. It was a dreary day and rain was threatening, but the two of them turned the dreariness into sunshine. I had a great time photographing them (I hope they had fun too!). The images came out great and it is obvious they are truly in love with each other. To see the complete collection of images click HERE

I loved this real moment. I was searching the for the next location and turned around and saw this. You can see why I have the greatest job in the world.

We had a great time with Elizabeth, my niece, and her handsome fiance over the Thanksgiving holiday. We found a beautiful location and had some fun.
I hope you enjoy the images.

I have had the blessing of photographing these sweethearts since they were all babies. It was a beautiful fall day, and a great time to showcase our new backyard studio. The girls’ grandmother actually worked in our studio for several years. Their mother, Erin brings her girls in at least once a year from Austin. I always look forward to seeing them all.

We loved this pensive expression!

Doesn't she look sweet?

They grow up so fast?
Lauren and Benji made me look like a real photographer. We had a great time working together at the McNay. Many times the guys balk at being photographed…not Benji–he was a natural. Lauren looked radiant don’t you think?

What infectious smiles!!

Oh to be young and in love!!

Go ahead and kiss her!

Always hang on to each other!!
We had a great time with Tara and Clayton Friday evening doing their engagement photographs. They are getting married in Houston next year and I am sure the wedding is going to be one for the ages! They are a great couple and are extremely photogenic, although rumor has it they don’t think so :) Let them know what you think! Feel free to comment below. Enjoy the images and check out all of their photographs at this link.

Check out Anne Marie’s tennis video we did for her at the tennis tournament in Austin this past weekend.
This past month the Southwest Professional Photographers Association’s annual convention and print competition was held in Arlington, Texas. The association composes the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. It is the largest regional convention in the U.S. Photographers are permitted to enter 4 images per year and are judged by world renowned photographers from all across the nation. It was extremely difficult to chose the 4 images to use. I am blessed to have had wonderful brides to work with. I was fortunate to have all 4 of my images to hang at the convention (there were only 5 photographers from Texas to hang all four of their prints) and 3 of them received distinguished print awards. I want to thank the wonderful “real” brides (none were models-although looking at them one might think so). You made me look good. Here are the images.

It was a hot sultry August day at Mission San Jose` when we photographed Teletha’s bridal portrait in a beautiful Vera Wang gown from The Bridal Salon of San Antonio. Enjoy the breathtaking images of this beautiful woman.

It looks like she is happy to get out of the heat.
