Suzie and Andrew’s wedding was held at the beautiful Lost Mission, just north of San Antonio.  It is truly a romantic site, set in the Texas hill country surrounded by Live Oaks and Mesquite Trees.  This hill country chic wedding was all they hoped it would be. Surrounded by their family and best friends the two became one.  After the ceremony a cocktail hour was held on the grounds as old friends became reacquainted, sharing stories of the good times and remembering it was just “yesterday” when Suzie and Andrew were playing ball and dress up.  Now, all grown and looking fabulous they are husband and wife–yes, marriage, one of the great celebrations gifted to us by God.  I was honored to be a part of it and capture all of it for history.  As sun set everyone strolled the winding path to the reception area for dinner and dancing. The building looked stunning thanks to Clearly Classy Events, Cantu’s Special Events and IDL Lighting.  A wonderful dinner was served by Absolutely Delicious.  After all of the introductions, toasts, first dancing, we moved to the beautiful cakes and cut them.  Cynthia’s Cakes created Suzie’s masterpiece and Carolyn Wanke turned Andrew’s favorite cowboy boots into an edible delight.  With formalities concluded the joyous bride and groom danced the night away to the sounds of Platinum DJ Entertainment.  I hope you enjoy a few special images I have posted below.  Should you wish to see all of the day’s photographs please click this LINK.

Lilia and Brandon’s wedding was truly one memorable day. The spectacular JW Marriott served as the headquarters for this special event. Hair, makeup, and dressing all occurred here. Once the wedding party was prepared for the day we set aside a small window of time for Lilia and Brandon to quietly meet for a special intimate moment before we began the photography. All pre-wedding images were done on the grounds of the JW, Marriott’s flagship resort. The family, wedding party and all of their hotel guests were then transported to Our Lady of Grace Church in historic Monte Vista where Lilia and Brandon exchanged their vows and became man and wife before a standing room only sanctuary. After the ceremony we all traveled back to the hotel where we celebrated into the night with dinner and dancing. The day was magical and I am honored to share a few of the images on my blog. This past Saturday Cates and Riley became our inaugural wedding for 2012.  The first Saturday in January was a stellar day for a wedding.  This beautiful event began at the San Antonio Country Club with pre-wedding photographs.  We then moved to the historic St. Mark’s Episcopal Church for the wedding.  Afterwards everyone celebrated at SACC.  Wesley, from SACC, and Betty Parish, from The Wedding Planners, oversaw the reception.  As always dinner was outstanding. After everyone’s appetite was satisfied,  Blind Date hit the stage and provided the dance music all night long.  What a wonderful beginning to the New Year celebrating with such a fantastic couple.  I hope you enjoy a few of the special images from the evening.  If you want to see all of their photographs just click this LINK.
