month: August 2011

Lacey and Chris exchanged their vows and celebrated their wedding at two of my favorite venues.  San Antonio is blessed with some wonderful sites for weddings and receptions but it is hard to beat the beauty of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church near Olmos Park and The Argyle, in the heart of Alamo Heights.  Yes, this summer has been one of the hottest on record but Lacey, Chris, their families and friends did not allow the heat to mar their special day.  The day was filled with boundless love and energy all evening long.  Lacey looked radiant as she walked down the aisle on the arm of her father as a packed church looked on.  After the wedding everyone traveled to The Argyle to enjoy a special dinner prepared elegantly by the Club’s chef and to dance the night away to the specatular sounds of Skyrocket of Austin, Texas.  I hope you enjoy a brief glimpse into this glorious evening joining two very special families.  Should want to revel in the entire day, simply CLICK HERE.

I think San Antonio suffered a “brown out” last Saturday because Julie and Kerr’s wedding sucked all of the reserve energy CPS had right out of the city’s system. I can’t remember when a wedding had so much energy. Julie is a live wire – so full of life and vitality that it flows into everyone she touches. Saturday night she and Kerr exchanged their vows before 600+ attendees at the ever gorgeous Alamo Heights United Methodist Church. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Robert Emmitt. The stunning couple was attended by 13 bridesmaids, 13 groomsmen, 8 house party, and 5 ushers, along with 4 precious children serving as flower girls and ring bearers. After the wedding, Julie and Kerr, the wedding party and guests celebrated the marriage at The San Antonio Country Club and danced the night away to the sounds of Downtown Fever from Dallas Texas. I hope you enjoy a glimpse into one of the most energetic weddings I have ever photographed. Should you want to view all of the wonderful images they are just a CLICK away.

Thanks to these wonderful professionals who helped make Julie and Kerr’s day one to remember forever!

The only thing hotter than the weather last Saturday night was Christy and John’s wedding.  This evening was one to remember for the ages.  They were surrounded with wonderful families and a super set of friends as they exchanged vows at the ever beautiful Chapel at The University of the Incarnate Word. Afterwards everyone took the short drive to San Antonio Country Club where Wesley greeted them in style and made sure their every need was met.  Once dinner was over and the cake was cut everyone danced the night away to the sounds of The Pictures, one of Austin’s premier bands.  When the clocked tolled midnight Christy and John were showered with rose petals as they made their getaway in a vintage Rolls.  I hope you enjoy a glimpse into this incredible evening.  Should you wish to see all of their images they are just a CLICK away.

Thanks to all who helped make this evening special.
