month: March 2011

This past Saturday Shelby and Michael were married at the Alamo Heights Methodist Church.  It was a beautifully spiritual ceremony witnessed by hundreds of family and dear friends.  Afterwards the celebration continued at the Argyle with dinner and dancing in a beautiful tent decorated by Pizzini Designs.  The spring weather was perfect allowing many of the guests to enjoy a leisurely night visiting under the “super moon”.  A special thanks to The Wedding Planners Sue Bain and Robin Waters.  The evening ran so smoothly thanks to them.  As always John and his staff at the Argyle served an array of delicious entrees that did not go unnoticed by me. I look forward to seeing the video by Infinity Video.  Tomas and his team always do a great job so unobtrusively.

It was quite a night for Megan and Corby as they became husband and wife before nearly 1000 guests. Even though Megan is from Austin she decided to have her wedding in the home town of her husband, Corby. They chose Alamo Heights Methodist Church as the site to exchange their vows. As always it provides such a beautiful setting for a wedding. It is truly one of San Antonio’s finest.  Nanc Haney is one of the most pleasant wedding coordinators one can find.   After the wedding Megan and Corby traveled the short distance to the Argyle for dinner and dancing. Danny Cuellar and his team of florists turned the already beautiful venue into a magical wonderland. It truly was a site to behold. You may view some of the images below. It really took a coordinated effort to pull off the timing for such a large event and thanks to Tracy at the French Connection the day ran flawlessly.
The exquisite tent was provided by Illusions Rentals and Decor and it truly was something to behold. We can always count on the Argyle’s chefs  to put together a dinner second to none.  Thanks goes to John Marotta.  Of course, Cathy Young’s cakes finished the wonderful dinner with just the right touch of sweetness.  Click this link to enjoy all of the images from Megan and Corby’s wedding.
