month: November 2010

The ever stunning Motherhouse Chapel at the Incarnate Word campus was the setting for Nicole and Ricky’s wedding. That church never disappoints the camera. Ricky and Nicole are high school sweethearts and are now moving to Kansas to begin their married lives as a military couple, so I guess traveling will be in their future. After the wedding everyone traveled the short distance to Pearl Stables for the reception. Everyone had a great time celebrating and dancing the night away. A special thanks goes to Diana Boucher of I Do Wedding Consulting for keeping the evening moving smoothly so Nicole and Ricky could just enjoy their day. When you check this link to all of the day’s images be sure to look at the beautiful florals provided by Tom Cardenas of RTC Floristry–beautiful as usual.

It was a crisp fall afternoon in November as Kelly and John exchanged vows in the historic downtown St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. The setting was perfect for a perfect couple. Everyone had been anticipating their wedding and a vast amount of planning went into this day. We met Kelly and her girls at Kelly’s home in Alamo Heights and photographed the fun and excitement as they prepared for the day. After photographs at her home, we traveled to the church where Kelly and John had a quiet, reflective moment together before the wedding began. This time seems always to be special for couples as they share this intimate moment. After the wedding everyone assembled on the grounds of The Argyle for cocktails, then the party began with dinner and dancing in a beautiful tent from New Hampshire. The entire evening had the feeling of fall in New England. With Danny Cuellar’s floral touch, The Argyle’s delicious dinner, Cathy Young’s sweet cakes, and Blind Date’s rockin’ sounds the night was all Kelly and John had envisioned. A special thanks to Sue Bain from the Wedding Planners for keeping the day running without a hitch.  To see all of Kelly and John’s fabulous wedding photographs click this link.

It is such a special time when couples meet for the first time on their wedding day.

Kelly changed from her wedding gown before leaving the reception.

The way all was decorated it looked like we were in an quaint setting in the Catskills.

What a beautiful couple Carolyn and Robert are!  I know everyone had been looking forward to their wedding for some time.  Carolyn looked stunning in her Vera Wang gown and tails suited the sauve Robert.  The Motherhouse Chapel at Incarnate Word was the setting for their vow exchange and The San Antonio Country Club hosted the celebration afterward.  A special thanks to all who help organize this wonderful event.  Betty Parish of The Wedding Planners and Wesley from The Club kept things running smoothly.  Danny Cuellar and his floral staff added his usual elegance to the event and  Cathy’s cake, as always was delicious.  After a magnificent dinner “Sauce” entertain everyone.  No one wanted to leave the dance floor.  To see all of their images click this link.
