month: April 2010

I met Rebecca through her sister, Anne. We are photographing Anne’s wedding next month and are really looking forward to that event. Rebecca is a graduating senior from Boerne and wanted to update her senior portraits. I hadn’t photographed a senior in a while and frankly had forgotten how much fun seniors are. Rebecca was a fantastic subject and I think we captured the many versions of her infectious personality. I hope you enjoy her images as much as we do.
I think I would love to start photographing more seniors. Since I do not advertise, if any of you know of a current senior who needs an update or a current junior who is thinking about their senior year and their senior portraits, have them call me.  I would love to tell their senior story too.

I created two renditions of this image. Which one do you like best?

Be ready for some fun!

Lauren and Nathan exchanged their vows in a beautiful outdoor setting near Marble Falls, TX. Spicewood Vineyards provided the backdrop and it truly was beautiful. The weather threatened us but it cleared early and we were blessed with lots of sun and a crisp evening. Lauren was absolutely radiant and Nathan was one handsome groom. After the wedding we strolled through the vines and captured some wonderful images.  To view all of their images click this link.
Congratulations to you both!!

Natalie and Chad are getting married soon so we thought it would be a great idea to capture some special images of the two of them prior to their big day. We choose Rio Cibolo as our site since Natalie’s mother had chaired the Cattle Baron’s Gala there this past year. The springtime setting was fabulous and truly fit their personalities. I think we got some great images of them. Enjoy!

Caroline and Trey were married this past Saturday at the Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church.  The day couldn’t have been better–sunny and bright–a perfect for a spring wedding.  Tom of RTC Floristry provided a unique freshness to the venues with his beautiful florals. We started at San Antonio Country with the photographs and then everyone was bussed to the church for the remaining images.  After a beautiful service, highlighted with music from Caroline’s sister, we continued the celebration at the San Antonio Country Club.  The evening was orchestrated by Wesley from the club and Betty from the Wedding Planners.  With those two at the helm the night went off flawlessly.  The cakes were created by the incomparable Cathy Young and once the dancing started the crowd did not want the band to stop.  Dub Hankins and the Oh So Good Band rocked the house. If you want to see and enjoy all of the images from their wedding, click this link.

Here is a slideshow we created to highlight Caroline and Trey’s day.  Enjoy!!

I love it when couple’s see the benefit of seeing each other prior to the wedding. It gives them an opportunity to share a quiet, reflective moment before all the excitement begins. If couples go into this moment with the right frame of mind, it will truly be one of the “moments” of the day. Trey and Caroline made the most of this moment as you can see in their images.
