Life is good when you can enjoy it with your grandkids!

Life is good when you can enjoy it with your grandkids!

It is a rare Saturday that I don’t have a wedding,  so it gave me a great opportunity to see Jackson (Heather’s 2nd born)  in action-hey that’s a cool name “Action Jackson.”  (I bet no one has ever thought of that before.)  Jack was key in many of the plays.  He not only runs the ball but on occasion he passes it.  Good game “big guy.”  Keep up the good work.  His team won 18-6.  His sister Caroline (middle picture) is his #1 fan!

This past month the Southwest Professional Photographers Association’s annual convention and print competition was held in Arlington, Texas.  The association composes the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.  It is the largest regional convention in the U.S.  Photographers are permitted to enter 4 images per year and are judged by world renowned photographers from all across the nation.  It was extremely difficult to chose the 4 images to use.  I am blessed to have had wonderful brides to work with.  I was fortunate to have all 4 of my images to hang at the convention (there were only 5 photographers from Texas to hang all four of their prints) and 3 of them received distinguished print awards.  I want to thank the wonderful “real” brides (none were models-although looking at them one might think so).  You made me look good.  Here are the images.

We had a great time with Analise and Carl at the Landa Library this past week.  I hadn’t met Carl, but I can tell he is going to make the wedding day a lot of fun.  Analise’s eyes just penetrate the camera, don’t you think?  These are some of my favorites among a collection of super images.  To view the rest of the session click this link

First Presbyterian Church and The San Antonio Country Club were the sites for Ashley and Ryan’s wedding. Danny Cuellar from Trinity Flowers added special touches that made an already gorgeous church and an elegant country club glow. Special kudos to Berry Parish from Wedding Planners for keeping everything running smoothly. Wesley, at the Club, runs an impeccable event and makes my job so easy. As always wedding cake by Cathy Young is always a big hit. Everyone danced the night away with the Sophisticates from Austin. These are a few of my favorite images.
